Breakers - Hastings

Nice enough food, but I ordered from the 'light meal ' menu. Way too much food.24/12 pork roast no crackling, complained, none left, but they found enough for me. Scraped the dish. Well done, though!

This was a place that I tried towards my last few days in the country and it was one for the liking.... My friend's craving for a good juicy steak is what brought me here and without any doubt the juicy rump steak was of choice.As the steak came you could see the colour vibrancy in it and as you cut it the meat feels real tender(medium cooked) . It was served with a salad and fries.They also have signature drinks and the desserts are of a delicious range and the prices tha make your pocket happy.

Breakers is an amazing place to grab an occasional meal or two. I’ve heard a lot about it and wanted to try out the sirloin steak. However they were out by the time we had arrived. We had to settle for the 400g dinosaur steak which is quiet a handful. Steaks are best medium done and though it wasn’t the best steak that I’ve had I’d definitely say it’s worth the money.i would definitely recommend trying out the either the mushroom or the garlic aioli sauce. Moreover the fact that they have half price Thursdays makes it even better. Also tried out the brownies which were really good.

Had the Sunday roast got garlic bread maybe more garlic thts just personal preference, the roast was nice hot and very yummy side salad was big tasty thn had berry sundae good way to finish a meal. Will be back to visit next time I'm in Hastings cheers to the friendly ladies behind the bar were helpful polite and service was pretty fast.

Love breakers kids can play the foods always good and and so are the drinks and service. We often have the chicken diane which is always delish. The ice chocolates and coffee are great and its cool to get a discount too.
