Ted's Place - Harbor City

Ted?s is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fire, and sometimes it's like someone threw residues into a box. All that said, the customer service was friendly. I had a problem with the food (I was allergic to something and it was contained in my plate after I expressly asked not to be it), and they possessed it and made me a new plate. No fights. The staff was friendly so far. I wish they used gloves. I know it?s a little thing to some, but for me it's a big thing if you? re-handling food (the 4 star review). I would recommend: chicken or beef tariyaki plates? any burgers? the chicken or Asada Tacos

The Chicken Teriyaki here is quite the find. I highly recommend it. Fair prices and Huge plates of Quality Food

From having the best chicken teriyaki to worst. Felt like I was eating rice pudding, and no flavor in the chicken at all.costumer service sucks! Will never be eating from here again.

If possible, I would have given this place 0 stars. The worker who does cashier is completely lost and doesnt know what she is doing. They got our order wrong and completely burnt the teriyaki as well. We had to go back to get the rest of our order one of the teriyaki the rice was like mush the and the other wasnt even cooked all the way. Every time they ordered the food was okay but the service was bad but this time things went too far.

Heuvos Rancheros from Ted?s Place On the inside: a classic LA diner with booth seating and large, bright dining interiors. The building sits a bit farther off Sepulveda so traffic isn?t heard much from inside. I noticed a staff, using a slight positive racial profiling, determined there was a high probability of them making a solid Heuvos Rancheros The depth of flavor from the salsa and the strong tortilla made this a go to dish. Meals include hash browns or home fries and toast. The home fries were cooked near perfect with a quick strong outer grill creating a nice crunch and a medium cook on the inside. I suggest dipping the buttered toast in the rancheros along with the hash browns. When asked, the cashier preferred the hash browns over the home fries. Nice and accurate service. A well maintained establishment.
