The Little Grasshopper - Hamilton

Stopped here for a bite to eat before a concert nearby. It was busy with the after work crowd having a few drinks but we managed to get a seat. Ordered sandwiches and drinks. Food was great, especially the fries which were nice and buttery inside. Excellent Value.

If you like pork cutlets and grilled onions and red peppers, then you have to go there. The order is made once you oder. Fresh and hot. We always get the biffana and fries and beer. Really good.

Excellent food that is delicious and at a great price! Service is always friendly too : I eat here often now. I wish more people knew about this place!

Small, nicely decorated cafe. Very family friendly and the owner/chef was lovely. The food was fresh, hot and delicious it is not 'fast food ' (obviously not microwaved or pre cooked), but we did not feel we were kept waiting too long and drinks were brought promptly. The portions were generous (my husband who has a 'healthy ' appetite) struggled towards the end to finish his cod, potato and heap of steamed rapini (loved the tangy sauce that came with it), but finally managed! Very reasonable prices and varied menu plenty of Portuguese style choices, but also imaginative salads, classic sandwiches, desserts, etc. Nice clean washrooms. Will definitely be back.

The Little Grasshopper Café is a very nice place. The food is delicious..I loved the Greek Salad even thought this is a Portuguese restaurant. Prices are excellent and we recommend this place!
