Bidrage med feedbackA wonderful night for a birthday party. by far the best service we have received from waiter and host romano. eating was excellent and atmosphere felt like home in elevated wise. was really impressed when Romano sang me happy birthday and opened the door when we left in this night. we will go back!
We got together with a couple we had not seen for a long time because of COVID and we're looking forward to a nice meal and conversation. Both couples arrived promptly at 7:00. Our server was very attentive and our appetizer arrived fairly quickly. However our entrée was not served to us until 8:45! During our wait of over an hour we were not offered bread or anything to tie us over. When our entrée was finally served there was no cutlery on the table. The good news the food was excellent. The bad news not only did we have to wait way too long the restaurant is VERY LOUD and trying to carry on a conversation was extremely difficult. They need to get a sound technician in the put up some dampers etc. so you can hear. And there are obviously issues with kitchen. I would give Claudio's a couple of months to work out the kinks before eating there.
Went there to celebrate my grandma's 100th birthday. The staff were kind and helpful. The owner especially so. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was elegant. Our family was grateful for the experience. I personally would eat there again.
After reading so many positive reviews of Claudio's, our group of 6 was looking forward to an awesome meal. It was the first nice meal out for one couple since the start of Covid. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Appetizer calamari, burrata and Caesar salads were just OK. Veal dish was tough and should have had some type of sauce. The seafood pasta did not say on the menu it came calamari, of which there was a lot , and compromised the main ingredients being shrimp, scallops and mussels. The gnocchi dish was also just OK. The desert was described totally different a custard type desert , from what was served which was a lemon curd flan. The topper of the evening was when we received our bills and luckily one person discovered that an 18 gratuity had been added to each couple's bills after one couple had already paid and added on an additional 18 . When the server was questioned she went back to the bar and said it was an error because we were a group of 6, even though we had separate bills. And no where on the menu it was stated that an 18 gratuity would be added to the bills. Also, the website shows linens on the tables, which there were not any and the wooden benches need some type of padding to make guests feel more comfortable. In good conscious we cannot recommend this restaurant and have no plans to return.
Food was good with great service, but the food waiting time was ridiculously long. Also the seafood pasta is different from what I expected. Again, good Italian restaurant but I might not go there anymore unless I am sure I have time to wait for the food.
