Bidrage med feedbackToday, we ordered a lamb jalfrezi and a cauliflower special for takeout. When we went to pick up our order, we noticed that no one in the restaurant, including the staff and customers, was wearing face masks. The jalfrezi had chillies in the sauce, but unfortunately, the sauce lacked any flavor at all. On the bright side, the lamb was tender, which is not always the case in curry restaurants. The cauliflower special was disappointing as there was very little cauliflower in it, and what was there was overcooked.
We arrived with our family late and found that The Taste of India next door was crowded! However, our experience at this restaurant was quiet and relaxing. The food arrived quickly and the manager, although abrupt, was very helpful. The food was very nice and authentic Indian cuisine, with no unnecessary fuss.
I really love the food at this restaurant and was happy to wait a few extra minutes for my order to be ready. After driving a couple of miles to pick up my order and paying upon arrival, I was informed that they were very busy and running behind schedule. I had already been waiting for over a few minutes. The picture below shows me waiting for my order.
Staying overnight nearby we found this restaurant there with no need to book in advance this turned out to be the best Bengali food we've ever had and we highly recommend it to you extremely good value for money excellent company nice staff
One of the best Indian takeaways we've had for a long time. Succulent pieces of chicken in a great sauce in all three dishes we ordered. Great to have a spicy meal without blowing your head off. Close to what we've had in India.
