Saffran - Hafnarfjoerdur

Basically a fast food place with a difference. Seems to be popular with locals. English menu. Large portions. Food tasty. Not too expensive. Eat in or take away. Cheap, tacky plastic furniture gives a cheap feel. Would rather give 3.5 stars because of that.

The children's meal was terrible. The corn was inedible and tasted stale. The salad only had three grapes.

The pizza at this restaurant is reasonably priced, but the portions are smaller than expected. The dining area was not very clean, with crumbs on the tables. Payment is made at the register. The location is somewhat secluded, but there is a large parking lot nearby. Overall, the food is inexpensive and served hot, but not outstanding.

Excellent food here, it was quick too and less expensive than most of the meals we had in Iceland. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The dude even gave us a yummy dessert to go with our meals because he was a super nice fella. Two thumbs up
