Red Rooster Gympie

After a long day of conducting an audit, I needed something to refuel or my brain would melt. I opted for the chicken mega box deal, which included a quarter chicken, crispy strip, 6 potato bites, regular gravy, small chips, and a 375ml drink for myself and my partner. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, perfectly spiced but the stuffing was a bit bland. The crispy strip was decent, though not very exciting. The chips were a bit underwhelming in my opinion. The coleslaw was tasty with a good texture and cooked perfectly. The gravy, surprisingly, was exceptional for a fast food place - it had great taste, viscosity, and was perfectly spiced. Compared to other fast food chicken places in the area, this was the best one we've had so far.

The usual red hahn tariff , but the huh just seemed out of that and was driped with juice, which shows that it was not kept in a warmer.

Very fast service, friendly staff, eating was hot and drinks were cold, which was after long day travel and fast meal before the bed.

Eat allways cold and have to wait a long time .staff are very friendly but . large plave for family to dine in .

Cant go wrong with the chicken and chips combo been an easy favorite for years as the food always seems fresh and chips have the best salt!!
