Every staff member who made eye contact with us greeted us like old friends and made us feel welcome. The food was some of the best I've had in a decade. I ordered the Rump Steak, Chips, BBQ Rib short rack, salt and pepper squid, and salad with a mushroom sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and the cut was ideal. The squid was the best I have ever had, the chips were perfect, the ribs fell off the bone, and the BBQ sauce was delicious. The mushroom sauce was so good that I could eat it every day, and even the salad was perfect. I wish I lived closer so I could eat there every day, not just for the food but for the atmosphere and the friendly staff. This restaurant is now in the top two places I have eaten at in my 47 years. Thank you. I look forward to visiting again and applauding the chef for their genius.

The food was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and full of Christmas cheer. We will definitely be returning next year.

I recently enjoyed a lovely Christmas Day buffet at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it! (Although some diners definitely overindulged)

Excellent meals, a lot to choose on their extensive menu and prices are also quite good. Can order drinks and meals via mobile app from table that is convenient. All staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed so much we have eaten there 3 nights in a row!

Tonight's experience has been fantastic. I often visit the Pheonix hotel with my family and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, the staff are really friendly and helpful and it is kid friendly. I always recommend this place to anyone who asks where to find a good meal in Gympie. Looking forward to the next one!
