Swellies Cafe - Gwynedd

Coffee n cakes absolutely great, stopped off one afternoon, we will be back and will try something else, but from viewing others eating we won't be disappointed.

I always enjoy coming to the Swellies. The service and atmosphere are great, and the food is consistently excellent. On my birthday, I went with my partner and we both ordered breakfast dishes - I had the halloumi breakfast and he had the captain's breakfast. We both loved our meals! The woman who welcomed us and served us was very nice and friendly, and the service was quick.

This restaurant is a hidden gem that we stumbled upon a few weeks ago while looking for another local breakfast spot. The food, service, and cleanliness are all exceptional. We have only had breakfast there, and there is a great selection of dishes that are cooked to perfection and delicious. I have given it a 5-star rating based on the location, food, and service. I didn't deduct points for the dog friendliness, but I must mention that during our visit today, there were 5 dogs inside the small dining area. Unfortunately, one of the dogs next to us was constantly scratching, and since my wife has a dog allergy, we had to move outside under an umbrella in the drizzle to enjoy our meal. While we were aware that the restaurant is dog-friendly and that there might be dogs present, it was a bit overwhelming for us. So, if you have a dog allergy or simply do not enjoy being around dogs, this may not be the best choice for you.

We were in Felinheli doing some family research and came across this delightful cafe, had the Sunday roast in a bap, just what we needed, many thanks to Eddie and staff for making us so welcome, delicious food.

The new Sunday menu was delicious! I had the pork which came with apple stuffing and crispy crackling. It was amazing! The cafe itself is lovely and the staff were all really polite and helpful. Will definitely be returning
