Galeri Cafe - Gwynedd

Nice peaceful place to enjoy my mocha and caramel shortbread cake.

This place is absolutely useless and has been for years. This time, lunch booked for three but restaurant closed with no notice. Definitely last time I bother

I love visiting the gallery, especially the coffee bar. You can even see Anglesey Riding Centre from the view.

Visited today Thursday, 19th May 2021 with friends. Chosen initially because of location in the docks in Caernarfon and because of pleasant views. Friendly welcome and Covid precautions in place. Welsh speaking staff made us feel welcome. Plenty of choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Food was lovely. Just had some jacket potatoes with toppings and side salad. Jacket potatoes were sizeable and salad with homemade coleslaw was fresh and varied. Would recommend and we will visit again soon. Da iawn caffi Galeri.

I’m a frequent at Galeri since my daughter goes to dancing classes here and we often go to the cinema together. Welcoming environment and friendly Welsh-speaking staff, I cannot fault the service I’ve had here. The cinema screens aren’t like the ones you will get at the likes of Cineworld or Vue but they’re more than adequate and the prices reflect this. I would rather pay a local cinema than splurge silly amount at Llandudno or Broughton. The fact that it’s local makes travel less stressful too. Cafe is lovely too especially in the warmer months where you can sit outside and relish the view of the quay. Brilliant Welsh music played at the bar too. Diolch Galeri!
