Koto Japanese Steak House - Groton

This place has gone downhill. Maybe you can have a different experience. Poor service, staff lacked professionalism. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant left me unimpressed. The Hibachi Chef was good, he was entertaining. But our appetizersarrived after our entree and were dumped on an already crowded table. This place was not busy to be this terrible.

Everything was delicious. I got a shrimp tempura roll to go along with my hibachi chicken and shrimp with noodles. My boyfriend got hibachi steak with shrimp as well as scallops. The price for it was a little steep so this will definitely be a once in awhile food stop. Unfortunately the scallops also didn't sit well in my bfs stomach and I'm not sure if it was how it wasprepared, or because they are scallops haha he also ordered some peach sake which was delicious.

I went with my children, there husbands and grandchildren. we all had a great time. very entertaining with there unique talented as beat a spatula with a knife and get a piece of eating in each of our mouths. service was wonderful and of course eating fantastic. great time for a family evening. Oh yes, the scorpion dish was very good. I recommend this restaurant.

Happy hour all day at the bar every Sunday. Great deals on sushi and drinks!

Really enjoyed the hibachi show and the food was fantastic. Was a little disappointed that another family sat at our table after we already had our appetizers which slowed our meal down considerably but that happens at hibachi, I understand that. Just bad luck. Will definitely be back.
