Raphael's Bakery - Greenwich

Excellent choice for dinner. Lobster rolls are fantastic as is the ambience. Been here multiple times.

The gentleman behind the counter who is one of the owners blew us away by how warm and friendly he was. Thank you for being so kind and welcoming- it was so refreshing. Not to mention the pastries- everything was super delicious and fresh. Cannot wait to come back soon!

Loved this place! I'm a sucker for French Coffee shops. We were in Greenwich for a day trip on a very hot summer day. And I found Raphael's Bakery on Yelp. It sounded perfect for what we needed and it didn't disappoint. I'm a hot coffee girl but it was 100 degrees outside and I went with Iced coffee. It was delicious strong but not bitter. Just perfect. And the unexpected surprise was that it was served with tiny pastry just like in France. Everything in the bakery looked fresh and appetizing. We also got freshly baked chocolate cookie for my daughter that I did not get to tI really wanted to try almond croissant but we were about to have lunch. Bread looked very good too. Also, you could tell that this is a family business. They were all very helpful and cheery behind the counter. And check out their cute cups. I want to visit Greenwich again just to go Raphael's!

I am a local resident and really like good bread. There is no better baguette available than at Raphael's. It has a good crust, the interior is soft but chewy and has an excellent flavor. The aroma is wonderful and starts at the parking lot. I have never had a baguette which exudes the original baking aroma when reheated, this one does. The croissant is fresh, flaky and buttery. The best available.

Friendly atmosphere, beautiful location and great croissants and baked. would recommend the chocolate croissant especially if they are warm.
