Bidrage med feedbackProbably one of the worst experience I've had for a 450 dollar Omakasi experience. Mixture of Uber drivers coming in flip flops walking through the restaurant yelling out Uber names killed what could have been a semi decent evening. Food was one dimensional carrying fusion type flavors with cuts of fish that were a little thicker than prefered... More is not always better. For anyone considering a nice sushi dinner save yourself the money... The the extra time and pick some place like sushi of gari that offers better food and experience for a fraction of the price. Perhaps among The other Japanese sushi spots along this strip will pass for CT, but won't stand a chance in The city. A general note to the restaurant, consider not allowing phones at the counter. As a patron I Rather not have my evening interrupted by tik tok videos and obnoxious sound effects. Keep Uber drivers at bay... Patrons need not hear the chef or waiter talk across the restaurant.
Omakase dishes were very hit or miss, lacked that wow factor in presentation and flavor Cocktails were uninspiring Cool ambiance decor Worth giving it a shot but will not be returning
Excellent food. Excellent experience. A great place to go for a special night out.
They no longer are associated with the Kissaki brand has gone way downhill. Not worth the prices at all. Save your money.
Underwhelmed for what they charge. $100 to reserve 2 seats and $200 per person omakase. The selection of fish was good as well as the chef who was excellent at explaining the source of each dish. But we were not blown away by the flavors and textures of each bite. It was good but not excellent. Service from servers was subpar to be charging that price. My husband and I are huge fans of an omakase experience—and in comparison of Michelin star Sushi Nakazawa in NYC and two other spots. They does not require a deposit to reserve a seat and charge less: $180 per person with optional upgrades such as the uni flight that we experienced. Every single detail along with service was spectacular and we felt in the end that the bill was 100% worth it at Sushi Nakazawa. Kissaki Greenwich, unfortunately not so much. We drove almost 2 hours hoping for an amazing omakase experience and was deeply underwhelmed. Would not return. Next spots on our omakase list is Sushi Noz and Masa.
