South Lakes Golf Club - GOOLWA SOUTH

Average bistro setup within a golf club. Friendly staff both at the order point and bar. Potato Gnocchi was one of the specials of the day. Not exceptional but pretty good. Good views over the golf course if you get a window row seat. On my return list.

Wednesday night special. 3 courses for 30 dollars 2 for $25. Very nice food, served hot and by pleasant friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Recommended

We ate in the clubhouse twice during our stay; good varied menu and fair value. We hit some golf balls at the driving range and were delighted by the service from the resident golf pro who gave my wife an unplanned, complimentary putting lesson.

We had a beautiful coffee and cake there after a memorable first ever 9 hole golf game. Staff excellent

My group of six dined at Birdie Restaurant on a Friday night and we all agreed it was the best meal and service we had all week. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we were well taken care of. We tried to make a reservation for Wednesday night, the only other night they are open, but unfortunately they were fully booked. It's clear why they are so popular! Well done, Birdie Restaurant.
