Yilki Store - ENCOUNTER BAY

While the exterior may not be particularly eye-catching, the restaurant is situated in a charming location. However, the staff were incredibly pleasant and welcoming, and the food was exceptional! I haven't had a sandwich this tasty in ages. Additionally, they were able to serve us during the mid-afternoon when many other restaurants are closed. The coffee was also quite enjoyable.

I stopped in after a 6-day hike and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent carrot cake, delicious chips, and other tasty menu items. The food was genuinely great and the staff were lovely. I would definitely come back again!

Very friendly people who serve in this shop. Lots of choices for food, plenty of seating with a heater in one section. Food for any tummy to enjoy. A lot of customers came and went. The beach across the road to watch and wonder.

A very busy shop with a couple running it from 6am to 6pm serving us great coffee and miscellanous stuff. Opposite is a sea view and if lucky, you will see pods of dolphins feeding some 50 metres away

Arrived at bnb in Whalers rd around 4:30pm after unpacking thought it best to get take away for dinner, walked around to Yilki Store got 2 hamburgers with the lot a hotdog, they double wrapped everything so they would be still hot after the walk home they were. Magnificent service, quaint older style store (lovely) food to die for, BEST hamburgers in the world, thank you soooo much, will definitely be a regular.
