Dairy Queen - Golden

I am not usually a fan of fast food restaurants, but I have always had a soft spot for Dairy Queen, especially their hamburgers. However, lately it seems like the quality of their burgers has gone downhill. The meat they use now seems to have more "fillers" in it, and the mushroom burger I tried was terrible. The sauce was awful and there were hardly any mushrooms. It is also difficult to customize your order, as the specials come with additional items. Despite these issues, we were able to add a chocolate sundae to our meal, which thankfully was good.

The women decided to stop for ice cream, but I needed coffee as I was getting tired from driving. I was hesitant to try the coffee at DQ because I thought it would be too bitter, but I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was actually very good and could rival that of their big competitors. And of course, the ice cream cones were delicious as well.

I recently visited a nearby restaurant for lunch. The service was prompt and efficient. The burgers could use more seasoning, but the fries were deliciously hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean and the seating was well-spaced for social distancing.

Always get a great service here! The owner knows how to run and the staff a restaurant. Blizzards are too good!! Go on!

Sopped in on way thru town. Just off the highway on the service road. Restaurant was clean, service was quick. Servers were friendly. Portions were fine.
