Visited at the end of September and it was amazing! Wonderful service, delicious food and so lovely to chat to the owner who had visited Bath where we are from! Closed over the winter for renovations but back open in April. Highly recommended. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The atmosphere is really nice, which is why the anticipation was even greater. We had the octopus in vinegar as a starter. The octopus was really tough and hard... really cooked to death. This hurts when you know how buttery octopus can taste when cooked/fried properly. Additionally, it was way too vinegar-heavy. The swordfish was good and very tender, the lamb was completely cooked and therefore tough again. It almost hurts when you have to pay so much. The waiter was very nice and tried hard.
