Jolly In - Germfask

We are from Ohio and just happened by and needed our evening dinner. I had their homemade pastie with gravy and my wife had chicken sandwich with French fries. Both meals were outstanding and the service was Great!!!!! Will put it on my list of favorite places to eat when we are in the area again. thanks

Awesome service. Came home late from Grand Marais beach. As we headed back to our camper we were afraid we wouldn't find any place for late dinner. Initially, they told us the kitchen was shut down, but shortly they let us know they woukd reopen the kitchen for us and fed all six of us. Great food, great people. Awesome atmosphere. It was our last night in Germfask. Wish we had checked out this place earlier in our trip. Definitely stop in and have a meal. Great place in a super small town.

Good food served promptly given that it is made to order. The chili was exceptional. Neighborhood feel with friendlr customers and servers.

We were close by at the Seaney NWR and wanted a nice place for lunch. We didn't have to look far in this nearby town of Germfask. Jolly's is a small family run tavern and restaurant serving very good food. They had a special on Pasties, which are home made but, we opted for something else. I ordered the Jolly Burger, a 1/2 lb. burger with swiss cheese and mushrooms with a side of fries. It was delicious. My wife ordered fish and chips with slaw. Also delicious. the service was very good and quick. We will come back someday hopefully on a friday as they have a fish special every Friday.
