This place I would say that it is a little bit the “black pew” of the selection of the fork... there were a few negative elements that will surely not make me come back. Of appetizer I took “selection of mixed meats with fried ravioli” €14) we was served salami with still the pelica to remove that it had not really a delicious taste and the speck instead was very good. Even the focaccettes were good, there was nothing to do with the honey they were served with! As first I took the tricolored pastries to the rock €16) that I had asked without chilli and arrived a little small and the worst thing was cooking: STRACOTTI, to the point that they have broken! They were good. We then took the frying of rookies €18), except for the too salty, also they were fried well. The wine instead “of the house” was very “acetose”. In total we spent €65.50, with two starters, two first, a second divided, sure without the fork discount the price of menu would have been excessive. The owner, untreated, I would confiscate his shirt and give him a nice wash! I am sorry that in this historical period I have difficulty in finding room staff and sometimes I am forced to close in the weekend but 4 people cook/owner and two waiters) for three tables in the evening I would say that they are too many and complain with us was not at all pleasant.
We book Saturday evening with the Fork, we regularly receive the confirmation email and the seconada mail that reminds us of the imminent reservation, but arrived at destination we find the restaurant closed.
Thanks for the hospitality and kindness that made our lunch really pleasant in this trattoria, wrapped in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, in a nice and characteristic environment. We were welcomed and served with genuine kindness, and we found a genuine cuisine, with a menu of the day consisting of a few dishes, all fresh and tasty, at a really honest price and a good assortment between typical courses (as can be the soup to the Genovese) and other more particular (such as paella or shrimp to the Catalan), both of sea, that of land and vegetarian. Cheesecake and superlative coffee! Thank you, we'll come back if we go back!
