Bidrage med feedbackThis small and unpretentious restaurant is not easy to find. There is only a small board outside the former school building and the usual visual elements of restaurants are also absent. As it was a school not surprisingly it looks like a school. Consequently, when passing by it having on your mind a restaurant you might just miss it and keep on going. The restaurant is run by a young couple obviously with all the energy and ambition needed to make this project work. And, indeed, the simple but not unattractive decoration hosts a very enjoyable and high quality local cuisine. In two visits we only had antipasti and primi as secondo quantities as it is usual in all of Italy were assumed to be prohibitive. All the gnocchis, risottos, tortellinis and pasta dishes were original and evenly high quality. In particular the gnocchi with duck ragu and the tortellini with various mushrooms were extremely well prepared and tasty. They work with a short and very stable menu which changes only every couple of weeks. (Can be as much as 6 weeks! For locals this might be a drawback. For tourists much less so as it would take 4 5 dinners to exhaust all the options. Add to this a not very long but reasonably priced (good bottles at €12 14/bottle wine list with enjoyable Veneto wines and a dedicated and friendly service and the conclusion is ready: don't miss it if once there.
