Agriturismo San Carlo Di Donini Dario

I had been researching Lo Spiedo Bresciano, a type of slow roasted meat served with polenta, for several years. It is only done in this exact way in this region of Italy and I was on the lookout for a place to experience the cuisine. We found Dario online, and made reservations to attend his Lo Spiedo on a Sunday afternoon. We couldn't have been any happier. From the gracious service to the last taste of espresso, this afternoon of fine indulgence stands apart in out visit to the Lago Garda region. The housemade antipasti of salami, pancetta, tiny onions in balsamic reduction, pickled vegetables started things out great. Second came the little ravioli stuffed with slow cooked venison and gnocchi laden with greens. Next, the main course of slow roasted quail, pork ribs, rabbit, potato, and sage served over a decadent polenta, which was creamy with several cheeses...every bite a true delight. Dario brought us some incredible cheeses afterward and his tiramisu made with biscotti and espresso. Set on a peaceful farm in the country, the absolute perfect place to experience Lo Spiedo. Grazie to Dario and his staff. For 30 Euros including wine and coffee, an incredible value! We will definitely return!!!

Very large place, food is great especially the spice they offer: it is delicious and phenomenal. the building is rustic, but well kept. here you can perform parties and/or ceremonies. you can see from there a beautiful view with beautiful flora and beautiful fauna (hosted dogs, cats and dogs in the garden and in the field). the only flaw is the road to go, dangerous mountain roads and too tight. of the rest. great

Great clean place, you eat well food is food,good service. dario donini and his staff are prepared and competent. there is the possibility to make karaoke and the price is good.
