Starr Ranch - Gallatin

The food was pretty decent. Nothing unusual. Service was good. Definitely what you get sincere. Parking is back and you need to find out. There were no signs I saw. Didn't hate it, but I won't come back.

I didn't eat here. For cocktails. The menu looked delicious. The drinks were great. The service was on site. I want to go back for dinner.

It is a beautiful place when the weather sits decently outside on the rear deck is really nice. The food is pretty good. Better than most places nowadays. I like the Julian vegetables and the fried green tomatoes with little pimento cheese on them was beautiful.

We came on Tuesday after dinner. I think Helen served us. Visit the city and didn't want to go anywhere we go home. I'm glad we chose this place! Clean, friendly and oh, the fried green tomatoes! My only regret is that we didn't get 2 orders! I have the Tennessee BLT. Maybe the best sandwich I've ever had. Will definitely come back!

I was here at the suggestion of a friend I ran into while passing through Gallatin. It was post lunch and we got seated immediately with friendly service and was scant minutes passed before we were looking at menus. I was hungry and watching the clock so I ordered a burger and hush puppies. Both were decent, but my burger was undercooked for my liking. I order steaks a bit rare, but ground meats need to be cooked well.., I stressed this to the waiter, but the kitchen seems to have missed that point slightly. There was pink all through this pattie, and though the quality and texture seemed good enough, the semi-rawness was distracting. Veggies on the sandwich were crunchy and fresh, and the onion accounted for most of the flavor. The waiter was fun and engaging and I asked him where he got his tie-dye shirt. I'd like to try these guys again when I have a bit more time. The weather is finally cooling and their rear deck looks like it might be perfect for an autumn dinner after a day spent exploring the area.
