Haven't been to Macaroni Grill in a while. Decided to stop in to see if any changes have been made. I worked at Macaroni Grill for 10 years in the mid 90s....

One star off for length of time of this visit. There was reason for it: 12/25 Christmas Day. Good news: our reservations worked great. Bad news: rest of Fort Worth decided to order carry out. Kitchen staff was swamped and it took a long time to get our order. Some forward planning might have help. I don't remember names of our waitress or manager on duty, but both did everything they could under circumstances to make this visit better. In summary: good food, attentive staff, 3 hours spent visiting with friends was longer than planned but not bad. We might not see some of them for a while and did not have to clean kitchen if we were hosting. I'm sure when we go back during normal day I'll be able to post five star review.

Absolutely horrible service, both the take out lady and the GM helped me but we 're both rude and seemed to be bothered by my order. Asked for two orders of the Double Mac n cheese with penne pasta. Ended up with a completely different thing. When they tried correcting it I ended up with one order after waiting 15 minutes after I had arrived. Then had to wait another 15 minutes to get the other half of my order. It would be nice if instead of arguing internally in front of the customer they listed to my order and didn 't give me what they felt like. To add I 've ordered the same thing for years and this is the first time I 've had issues. And it sure was an issue and went wrong
