La Forastera - FORIO

This may have been our favorite place to eat in Ischia! The staff were so friendly. The chef/owner and waiter came out to talk to us, they showed the most interest in us compared to everywhere else we ate, and even offered us a guide book to peruse while we waited for our food. The portions were massive and the prices were very reasonable. On top of all that they gave us complimentary bruschetta and cake! We were rolling out of there, we were so full. I had the tortellini alla Panna, it was very good! My husband had some pasta with lobster, he also found it to be delicious! Also, as mentioned in other reviews, there were many cats wandering the restaurant, so maybe not a good place to go if you are allergic. I personally found it to be very charming! Cat cafes are an attraction where we are from.

Just and simply amazing! Absolutely worth the trip off the main streets, delicious food of great quality, amazing portions, outstanding hospitality and very fair prices. We came back a number of times.

Absolutely the best restaurant on the island. We walked in around 14:00 not sure if the place was open or they still had food and waddled out at 16:00 overrun by the quality of the food. There aren't any menus, you just eat what the owner has to offer, he looks at you and decides. We had a couple of seafood dishes and finished up with some lovely dessert and meloncello. Go here!

Delicious gluten-free food and cooked with extreme care. every rich reach tells the story of who a job does it for passion. we have tasted pasta, rabbit, fish and pizza, all great and at low prices. the owner and all the staff pamper you in everything. to conclude a location not to be missed at sunset. Fucking sight! on this long holiday we tried it more local, but the guest remains our favorite, so much so that the last days we have become regular customers feeling at home. recommended!

We happened in this restaurant a little by chance and we discovered a nice place. the owner is very nice and very helpful, friendly staff, celery service, simple but fresh dishes, excellent value for money... to definitely return.
