Bidrage med feedbackI am in the restless position, an evaluation for a good restaurant that I visited in what was likely a very bad day for them. eating was very good, the staff was very friendly, nice and elegant restaurant in a...good location, but I also have to report what went wrong. I liked a lot of the menu, few but very interesting courses. to solve allergy problems, the staff could propose alternative courses, and the fish was excellent. we have also not tested fish courses and the quality was also very good. the amount of food in each cure is somewhat less than the average for the opposite, but was suitable for me. I don't want to go to an Italian restaurant and feel full after the pasta course. what went wrong, long story short, we came when the restaurant was maybe half full, we waited 20 minutes for the menu (theoretically because they were not available, but I think that this could have been a way to slow down the order,) and then we waited an hour plus the first cure. the manager was very sad for it and told us that it was due to the unfortunate situation that 2 workers in this night disappeared from the kitchen. I believe and I have noticed that other customers got some other bad experiences (like a table of 4 with 2 people served 30 minutes after the other 2). the people came to us later, instead were served with proper timing, probably because there was less work for the kitchen. after the great lateness I enjoyed eating anyway, unfortunately we had no time to order desserts that were also interesting. next year I will hope again to give a better assessment to the place.
We were on vacation in toskana with our family and decided to have dinner in il gattopardo we have seen positive feedback on tripadvisor and taken a chance. I liked everything: from the good location of the restaurant at the ufer with views of the sea and fantastic beautiful sunset, attentive staff (the director of the hall itself went out to tell about all details of the menu) to the most delicious oriented Tuscan and Sicilian cuisine. my family and I decided that, as we are on the sea, we will eat seafood. first we ordered rose wine, it was only the color of the sunset over follonica. as an antipasto (appeared) we tasted in teig and kabeljau (yummy then we got arancini (these are such crispy roasted rice balls with saffron and stuffed from delicate stuffing with capern and cornichons). as the first cure I chose lasagna with fish (the freshest fish caught in the morning by fishermen) as the second cure I ordered thunfisch on a bed of caponata (a traditional Sicilian dish, a kind of herbal stew from aubergins, which were stuffed together with other sweets). sizilian cannoli (the best teigstrohlings with fresh ricotta) and a glass sweet passito alleatico dell’isola d’elba wein were our dessert a pure joy! finally ordered my father-in-law coffee (he had a delicate mandelkeks in a crystal vase, and while he had drunk his mother-in-law, we all ate the restaurant manager told us that to get such an incredible fresh taste in limoncello, it is necessary that the lemon crust in alcohol for exactly 21 days, no longer a day! the wonderful meal has really made our evening!
Very elegant menu simple and typical cuisine is good you feel that they can cook ok prices in the norm I will return
Nice restaurant on the seafront of follonica. the good and the evil of the place does practically entirely the kitchen. absolutely disorganized on the ocite of the comande with the dishes that arrive in different times. However, the dishes are excellent invoicing. well the tortelli della maremma alla ragù and the shalatielli to the clams. exceptional scholine cutting. the owner knew with competence and sympathy solves everything with discount and limoncello.
