Shin Thai Asian Kitchen - Fish Hoek

Passing a billboard advertising a three course Chinese meal for only R70 seemed to good to be true so my wife and I popped in a few days later. We had a lovely meal rather too much food actually and thought that when we returned again for we most certainly will, we would forgo the dessert. This is a very unpretentious restaurant but obviously popular as there were only two tables empty on our visit. This is not fine dining but it is good wholesome Chinese (Western) fare.

When Danyaal Shabudin and I visited this establishment last week we had both be craving good Chinese food and we were certainly not disappointed. From the authentic setting to the friendly staff, we enjoyed every second of our visit. The chow mein was exactly to my liking, a great variety of vegetables that were perfectly cooked and also, lots of meat for my boyfriend who avoids the veg at all costs! The dim sum was amazing and I cannot wait to see more of this place in the future!

WOW, my husband and I both agree that this is the best thai food we have ever had in South Africa.  I think it may even beat my favorite Thai restaurants in America too.  From now on we are going to get takeaway from here all the time.  Can't wait to try the Ostrich curries!  Very reasonable price too.

Love the food, Although the restaurant itself is a bit too mellow i suggest going with a lively crowd but over all the food is good. My favorite sushi place in fish hoek.

Had the 12 piece variety salmon sushi, spicy chicken stir fry with noodles, and Friday chicken wontons. A lot of great food for an extremely reasonable price!
