Captain's Kitchen - FANNIE BAY

I visited this restaurant for breakfast on the weekend and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I have been here a few times now and have noticed that it keeps getting better. The restaurant is well-decorated and has a cozy feel. Unlike some cafes that try too hard to offer good service, the staff at Captain's Kitchen are genuine and natural, which makes the service exceptional without feeling forced. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a wonderful dining experience at a beautifully decorated restaurant located in Fannie Bay, right on the waterfront. The service was efficient, though slightly impersonal at times. Despite a small delay, our main course was cooked perfectly and definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is famous for its delicious charcoal chicken, and after trying it, I understand why!

My family and I have been frequenting Captains Kitchen for years, including a visit in January 2016. Despite changes in management and renovations, this longstanding restaurant in Fannie Bay has consistently delivered high-quality food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the seafood tasting, Charcoal Chicken, Burgers, and Rice Curry for starters. While there may be a bit of a wait at times, the fresh, just-cooked food always leaves us satisfied and happy.

One of the best fish and chip shop I've ever been to! Had the grilled fish and scallops, so fresh, very well cooked.

Very ordinary... cooked in dirty oil, chips were brown and soggy, and the fish, well... wouldnt recommend this place. There are much better places within 5 minutes of this place.
