Bidrage med feedbackCheap price $8-$10 per dish) and plenty of food. The teriyaki meat is well marinated and grilled right. All fried items are made with the right wok warmth. Many take, but there are tables to sit down and enjoy the freshly cooked food.
Food has a really good taste, different from other similar places. I do recommend the beef or shrimp yakisoba
The flavor of the beef was good. And I could taste the love in it. However, I’m sorry but it just wasn’t worth the money. I’ve never had teriyaki beef plate with such small portions. It was two skewers with about 5 small slices of beef on each one. While I was waiting I heard a microwave oven go off. That worried me, and I am pretty sure the rice was microwaved. Rice is cheap. How hard is it, to keep a pot of fresh rice handy. I know businesses are struggling in these unprecedented times, so I’m sorry, but I would not be going back there again under these circumstances. I also have worked in the food industry for several decades and worked in award winning restaurants: so I would like to recommend not using that cut of beef. It’s not ideal for teriyaki beef plates, which is why traditional Japanese teriyaki restaurants do not use it. Please look at what others are using and you will see that it is a much cheaper option because it is tougher meat. The beauty is that the marinade will soften the meat and you can give bigger portions. Everyone wins. I hope my message makes sense. Forgive me if it doesn’t, I’m having trouble thinking as I am still hungry.
This is my least favorite Teriyaki place in town. The man who runs it is rude as all get out! He has a smile or kind word for no one. On top of that, the food is gross. Dishes I normally love like Orange Chicken Chicken Teriyaki are absolutely ruined by this place. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Not only is the staff/owner incredibly unfriendly and disrespectful to his customers, but they also overcharge like nobody's business. You'll pay twice as much here for food that is barely edible. Do yourself a favor and stop by the Shake Go Teriyaki less than a mile away on Broadway 37th. There you'll be treated well, served good, hot food, and pay a fair price. I avoid this particular poorly run Toshi's franchise like the plague. It's baaad.
Awful food this used to be excellent teriyaki new owner has messed it all up food is awful; even the rice. The rice was straight mush should at least be able to cook rice!!! The service was great. Prices increased and a lot smaller portions which I know these days is happening a lot but to this extent
