Bidrage med feedbackWe stop at La Cocine every time we drive up north to our cabin….which is about 4 visits a month minimum We love their food and service and especially their awesome Margaritas best in New Mexico ……best ever! Last week we were in for a bad surprise! The margaritas were totally different. Disgustingly sweet! Totally different flavor. Sooooo sad! I told so many folks about their great Margaritas and they all agreed with me! Now we are driving by without stopping for a meal…..we might try it one more time….maybe. I wish they’d get their bartender back or at least ask for the recipe…or buy it from him if they have to. What a great loss!!! Parking: I wish they would keep parken open for people with trailers
REALLY GREAT NEW MEXICAN FOOD! We stayed at the Buffalo Thunder Resort North of Santa Fe for a few nights, it's close to this area so we ate here the first night, man this was really good maybe the best New Mexican food I had on this recent trip. I got the enchiladas, beef cheese, Christmas, some of the best I've ever had. Everything else was great too, posole was on point for sure. I love how everywhere in the Santa Fe area has good beer on draft, they have 7K on draft here as well as a couple others I really love that. I'm from Houston we have great Tex-Mex of course but they never have like good ipas on draft it's always Mexican beer. Bravo New Mexico, Bravo! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive as well keep up the good work y'all! Kid-friendliness: We had our 7 and 9 year old boys with us
Staff not too friendly or attentive. Not too happy either. But food was very good. Large plates
Paid for cheese enchiladas with not lettuce onion or tomato ended up with beef enchiladas covered in diced onions. Enchiladas are the easiest thing to make and I always judge a restaurant based on if they can make enchiladas sadly the last time I came here during Covid the enchiladas where great so I can see now why the parking lot was empty during rush hour compared to during Covid when it was packed foods gone downhill while prices have gone up if I wanted to pay 15$ bucks to be disappointed in my enchiladas I would’ve just gone to el Rigoberto’s and saved myself the 40 minute drive.
Went here for lunch and had the stuffed sopapilla with beef. It was decent but unremarkable. However, my dad got the carne adovada, and that was delicious! Their cakes and pies looked really good, too, but we didn't have room for dessert.
