Difiore Ravioli Shop Of Ellington

I always drive by here, but have never stopped in before today. I am glad I finally did a gem of a local market in Ellington, DiFiore has a great selection of fresh made pastas, baked goods, oils, and hot food at reasonable prices. There are spaces to order at the counter and dine in at the cozy sitting room, or get takeout. I got takeout penne alla vodka (came w/ a complimentary focaccia) and two cannoli, both were delicious.

I live about half an hour from DiFiore’s in Ellington and stop there every time I’m in the area to stock up on raviolis. So far we have tried the cheese, sausage, lobster, and shrimp raviolis. They are all delicious! Our favorite is the shrimp and garlic! The fresh loaves of bread are to die for! Best bread I’ve ever had in my life. We have been trying a couple different desserts each time we go as well. Everything we have tried has been amazing. Everyone who works at DiFiore’s has been very friendly and helpful when I’ve gone in. The other customers are always in a good mood as well and it’s fun to chat with the other customers about what everyone is trying or has tried before. I highly recommend!

First time for me going there. Everything looks awesome! Can't wait to try the homemade ravioli!!

DiFiore has nice homemade ravioli, manicotti, and other pastas. And nice flavored balsamic vinegar choices. But I discovered that their manicotti was priced $3/6 pack higher than their same manicotti sold at Highland Park Market! So their pricing is out of line!After reading DiFiore's response about raising their cost to HPM to be more in line with their store cost, I will no longer patronize DiFiore store nor products since they seem to prioritize their profit over giving their customers fair product pricing.
