This is not a place to dine in. This is for take-out. The dining room is not why anyone from the island comes here. It's the food and the reasonable prices and the fact you can get a delivery(through a secondary service) or pick it up and have a flavorful and hearty meal of Americanized Chinese food. I've never been disappointed. I've lived here for twenty years. I am an American-born Chinese. This isn't Vancouver, Boston, San Francisco or New York so if you're looking for the exotic, this isn't for you. If you want a good meal, reasonable prices(for the island), tried and true American-style Chinese, this is your place. There's only one more place that comes to mind that serves Chinese food and it's not as good as this place.

Updating my review. You need to know what to order here, we try things and next time we order what we like. Notes from multiple orders: Love the boneless spareribs, scallion pancakes, and orange chicken. Very good classic egg rolls. Hot and sour soup has a great flavor but tends to be thick, so we bring it home and dilute it a little with broth. We like the Chinese mixed veggies. Chicken wings are also very good, they have a thick crust like General Gau’s. Make sure they include house sauces and mustard if you want those. The house special soup and the wonton soups are also very good. The last time we ordered, we tried the regular spareribs, which were way too overcooked, and the regular fried rice lacked flavor.

The price is going up a little and extra charge for the rice $2). The market price for rice is soaring, to be fair. The portions are great. The tastes are good. This is the year-round family business.

The best Chinese food on the vineyard! Classic takeout and the employees are always nice.
