Pine Grove Inn - East Patchogue

My wife and I were a bit worried upon walking in to try this place out. Only 3.8 stars, and the parking lot was empty at around 5pm on a Saturday. We were pleasantly pleased when we were greeted by a very nice staff, and we had prime seating for the lovely water view. Let’s cut to the chase the food was outstanding. The bread we were first served was a little too buttery, but other then that, the food was awesome. We ordered the beet salad, potato pancakes for an appetizer, and we shared the platter and fries. Top notch food. Delicious. We had the German Apple strudel for dessert and it was incredible. Don’t let the 3.8 review scare you away definitely give this place a try!

Kevin our server was exceptional. He and Giovanni were very welcoming and courteous. The food was terrific and extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend it for dining. The décor is charming the outdoors and patio area beautiful with the river views. Parking: Ample Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I am visiting from Florida and looked for a restaurant serving sauerbraten. We found the Pine Grove Inn. What luck! Atmosphere was beautiful, our server Kevin was fantastic and dinner and dessert was fantastic. Loved the baked clams,sauerbraten,red cabbage,potato pancake,strudel and ice cream. Fabulous menu many choices,all sound delicious. Highly recommend coming here a hidden gem. I know we will be back! Service: Dine in
