Bidrage med feedbackI decided to try the garlic bruschetta, which sounded wonderful. While it was tasty, it did not match the description at all. The portion of chips was tiny, and the onion rings were overcooked. The side of Thai stir-fry consisted of merely a tablespoon of cauliflower mixed with sweet chili sauce, which was underwhelming. I was pleased to find a vegan option on the children's menu—veggie sausages (I believe they're Linda McCartney) served with waffles/chips and a choice of vegetables. Unfortunately, the sausages were burnt and very dry. Overall, the food was acceptable for a pub, but I found the portion sizes and flavors to be disappointing. After leaving, I ended up eating a sandwich from our picnic in the car and snacking on some items at home. I left feeling quite let down.
There are plenty of delicious vegan and vegetarian options! The Pine Marten offers a wide variety of vegan dishes, making it well worth a visit!
