Creel - Dunbar

Great atmosphere followed by a fantastic meal...ticked all the boxes .Starter of scallops were generous and sweet followed by the Sea Trout with mussels my girlfriends had the Pork Belly ,more Pork than Belly,so was luscious. We followed with the varied cheeseboard and washed down with a lovely Malbec. Jack and Team were knowledgeable with any questions we had. It was our first visit at The Creel in Dunbar and we were delighted by the fine food there. I had the Seasonal Asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham which was fresh and delicious. I followed this up with the Pork Belly in gravy with mash and carrots, this was mouth watering and just melted away in the mouth. The service was friendly and speedy with excellent wine choices. The atmosphere was quite intimate also helped by the historic surroundings of the dining area.
