Bidrage med feedbackTerrible!! The soup is clearly from a packet. The food is like bad school dinners and £4 for a cheese sandwich!!! Really expensive and awful food. Only semi-edible thing is the chicken goujons, everything else is truly appalling
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. It felt like they were just trying to make money. Most of the items on the menu can be found in supermarkets. We purchased two "Scottish Cakes" and they were awful.
We stopped off for lunch on the way down to England. I really like Gretna Green the shops and surroundings have a unique, classy vibe but the foodhall was massively disappointing. The staff were friendly enough but seemed overrun. The place generally lacked organisation, the decor is fading, while the food and coffee were mediocre at best. Sadly I don't think we'll eat here again. The standards need to be elevated to the rest of the place. By all means wander around and check out the shops, but find somewhere else to eat.
We visited the Foodhall at Gretna Green whilst on a one day visit to the town on a Monday morning in July. We had travelled to Gretna Green by train from Carlisle and the attractions here are a short walk from the station. The Foodhall is quite large and it is possible to get anything from a cup of tea to a reasonably priced meal here. The restaurant has both inside and outside seating and we managed to use both although it did get busy when there were coach parties visiting. We used the Foodhall twice during our visit, one to get a drink and a snack in the morning and later to get a hot meal prior to returning the station. Both times I thought that the staff were helpful and friendly and the food and drink of good quality.
Nice little stop off en route to the west coast. Good selection of shops and plenty of parking (for cars as well as campers!
