Potato Corner - Downey

I wanted to love everything about this place because.. potatoes! But the tater tots I got looked nothing like the gorgeous star attraction on the screen at all. Rather, they looked old and hard. I saw them freshly make them though so I know that wasn't the case. I opted for no seasoning because I didn't want to overdo it. Overall flavor was ok. Service was fine. The price and lack of options solidified my resolve that I am a one and done customer here. Only 2 size options, and for the cheaper one being $7.25 I wanted to be blown out! I'll stick with the taters at Sonic.

I'm giving this place 2 stars solely on the lack of service, I had heard it was really good place and was ready to try it for the first time and as soon as I arrived to the location I wasn't greeted and was waiting for someone to acknowledge me and offer me help to take my order. The 3 people working there looked miserable and all looked at me and did not greet or ask me if I wanted to order. They all made eye contact and looked at me as if I was bothering them. I'm sure the place itself might be tasty but after I waited and looked at their menu and lack of good service I decided to just leave because I no longer wanted to be there. I don't think I'll come back to this location they're pretty bad. Get better employees or improve their wages when they put effort too!

I am potato corner addict. It's so good! Get the (Spicy BBQ Loopy fries) they are so good.
