Wolfdale's Cuisine Unique

We sat at the best table in the house facing the water. I made the reservation months in advance. Our waiter “RV” was excellent. The cocktails were very good. I really can't complain other than it is a pricey restaurant and honestly I was aware of that. Just be prepared to spend a pretty penny your dinner. It is a classy operation and I would return although on a special occasion only.

We have dined at Wolfdale's 3-4 times/year for decades. It has never disappointed. Last night most of our party had black cod... always exceptional! I went rogue and ordered tournedos and elk sausage. It was outstanding! Wolfdale's is a bit pricey so we don't go as often as we'd like to... but when we DO go, it's always a very special experience.

We enjoyed the most wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. The staff, our waiter, and we were fortunate enough to score a table outside looking out at Lake Tahoe. The cuisine delicious including the food presentation on hand made plates perfectly paired with each dish. An experience to savor and remember. Then plan your future reservation!

Christine was our waitress and she was wonderful and very attentive to all of our needs, as was the bus boy. The food was magnificent and we bought one of their cookbooks because I would like to re-create some of the meal that we had during this incredible culinary experience. The wine menu fit the cuisine to perfection. 

We had an amazing dinner with a beautiful view and our waiter and wait staff were awesome! I highly recommend coming here, one of our favorite places in Tahoe City for a lovely dinner, been coming here for over 26 years. ?
