Bidrage med feedbackWe ran into this little gem while driving around Lake Tahoe. The food, service atmosphere were spectacular! As appetizers, we started with fresh (colossal) oysters with traditional spicy cocktail sauce perfect sweet mignonette sauce. We also ordered the Sampler, which came with spring rolls, gyoza pork bao buns. The pork belly was thick cooked to perfection. The buns also included lightly pickled cucumbers, which was a great addition. For the main course, we shared the Oso bucco pork shank with a red wine reduction. We accompanied it with a side of sautéed wild mushrooms currants. We sat at the bar Tara tended to us. She was the best! Great energy and super sweet. We later learned the owner was the one who cooked our dinner. Chefs kiss! CHEERS!
The best meal while we were here this week. The short ribs and the paella were both amazing!!! We will be back!!
Would be 3.5, food wasn’t bad just not special and not cheap. Main was mostly sweet and one note, panna cotta was a nice finish. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We were here for a bachelorette party dinner and it was incredible!! The wait staff was very attentive, and the food was even better. The experience was one of the best we’ve had in Lake Tahoe so far!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you are looking for fine dinning....this is the place to go! It is on the lake and the menu is mouth watering. We started with Main Lobster Tempura with both a drawn butter or a Thai Chili sauce. Next we had Ahi Tuna Poke Cones, ohhhh my. I have had many an ahi poke, but this was mouth watering. A had the tomato soup which was thick and hearty. My wife had the smoked trout. Amazing. Now was time for the entrees. I had paella with prawns, scallops, lobster, sausage, and spinach, with saffron rice. Amazing. My wife had the Black Cod. She could not rave enough about it. A slight teriyaki sauce, and laid on a bed of Asian slaw. Of course you can't have dinner that decadent without having dessert. My wife had a peach melba, and I the Dark Chocolate Tort. Had to have an espresso martini to finish the night. Wow!!! This is the place to go.
