Schurman's Wisconsin Cheese

We were on a mission to find cheese curds and swung in the cheese shop to grab some. The entrance is strange as you walk through a small hall and around the corner to the cheese shop. We were `greeted`by a gentleman that was leaning on the counter and very interested in what was on his phone. We started to brouse and we were on a mission to find cheese curds. The giant sign outside stated they had the local cheese curds, but we could not locate any inside. We asked the gentleman at the counter and without even looking up he yelled nope, should have come yesterday! We excited and he never even looked up from his phone. I would not go out of my way to return to the shop when in the area.

Too high priced for what we were looking for. Didn't buy anything!

Best curds and aged cheddar. We stop everytime we are close.

The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and asked if I needed help finding anything the moment I walked in. Delicious very fresh cheese curds. Found some Elderberry jelly from Slacks that my mother has been quite pleased with. The morel and leek jack is probably one of my favorite cheeses ever. I contemplate making the 6 hour drive back just to get more, it is that good.

One of the best places for FRESH cheese curds! So good when they are slightly warm fresh.
