Bidrage med feedbackI have lived in the Dallas area for 15 years and decided to finally try this place I have been reading about in D Magazine, but given I travel the country looking for great Italian food expected just something OK....Oh how I was wrong. Service, food and atmosphere just wonderful. I will put this place up with Coco Pazzo in Chicago and Erminia in NYC. Just awesome. I ordered the Rigatoni with a spicy red sauce and my wife had the Risotto. Both spectacular. That combined with the lava cake then sambuca....YES.
Had dinner last night for our Mom's birthday. It was wonderful! We had a lake-side table next to the windows, and our waiter, Vito, was wonderful, as was the food and ambience. The Piatto di Formaggi was excellent, as was their Bruschetta. And the white bean soup ... fabuloso. All risotto dishes are made to order... and are worth the wait! Creamy and buttery and warm. Their selection of desserts and after-dinner coffees is extensive as well. You can't go wrong with any of them. We were advised that on the night we were there, the best cappuccino maker in all of Dallas was there... our waiter, from Italy, vouched that he made the best cappuccino anywhere! And I have to say, it WAS pretty darn good; no bitterness and the perfect head of foam. I will definitely be coming back. Oh, at this time, they also offer a 3 course Amore dinner on Friday nights; take advantage of that as well if you can.
Dinner was awesome, the food, the atmosphere and the service was superb. A definite new all time favorite for me. Can't wait to return again.
