Afrika Fusion - Dallas

This was my first time having Fufu Goat Stew and I'm very pleased that I chose this restaurant to be the place to try it. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful/pleasant! I will definitely add this to my list of favorites!

I visited this place because it was recommended by a friend but being my first time there, I was a little intimidated. My husband and I love to try new places, new flavors, and new cuisines but rate our overall experience on presentation, taste, ambience, but most importantly service. I can gladly say our experience was excellent! Wendy, our bartender, is a gem to Afrikan Fusion! She guided us through the entire menu, answered all of our questions, and her suggestions were on point. We will be back and I will recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you Wendy for your professional service and your patience with newbies like us. We will be back because of you!

Exactly what I expected. The food was really great. It is African fusion so a mix of eastern and western flavors. The staff is friendly, the food is cooked to order and definitely gives you the flavors of food cooked in Africa over a fire. I don't eat fufu but I was told it was amazing. Also, the food was really fresh. Try it!

*this review is based on take-out I received for Uber eats I ordered the okra stew with fufu and the oxtails. Both dishes were very tasty and the stews complimented the fufu. The okra stew came with puréed okra with beef knuckle. Be prepared to make a mess when eating this because the okra is stringy and a bit on the oily side. The fufu was a bit too crumbly and feel apart easily when trying to scope up food. I wasn't a fan of the texture of the beef knuckle but that's just a personal preference. The oxtail was excellent. The stew it was in was savory and the oxtails were cooked to perfection. It was a bit on the pricey side for 4 small pieces . I would definitely would recommend getting some rice to soak up those delicious juices. Overall I enjoyed the food I ordered and I would go back
