Soupçon - Crested Butte

Soupcon was great. the environment, service, eating and cooking were great. it is a small restaurant, old cowboys, so that the noise level can grow when liquids flow through the evening. easy to make friends with other diners that add to dazzle. chef john is very responsive and loves to visit with the hospitable. they will pay for this experience and yet it is really an experience that is worth it.

After we have come to cb for years and heard great things about soupcon, we were very disappointed to say the least. overall the front of the house service and wein pairings were spectacular. Joel took a fantastic look at us. we were very disappointed at the quality of food. really nothing special. not much for taste or presentation. if they spend over $300 per head, everything should be absolutely spectacular. the boss/owner should really improve his culinary game to commission the prizes they do. if they are looking for real fine restaurants, they save themselves some money and drive them to telluride.

Absolutely amazing! eating the personal visits of the amazing chef. the magic ambiente. this place is a must. it doesn't play a role when they have lived here for 25 years as I have lived or when you are visiting. add soupçon to them “must do” lists. they will not be disappointed. in that they will feel as if they had just met a new part of their family. my mothers on the last birthday were fantastic. we have the whole restaurant to sing their birthday. it is really a magical, delicious experience. they can feel the love in quality and aromas of food. Your mouth will thank you. Top 10 stars! many thanks for the suppe!

We attempted to eat at this establishment and add my mother in law who was able to attend last minute and when we asked were very rude and said it was not possible even though there was seating for 7 and would not even allow her to sit at the table. We were not happy but came up with a solution for her so she could to dinner and not be alone. Then the chef came out and asked how we were doing and I said not very good and then he proceeded to tell us we had ruined their night as well and then told us to get out.

It was great food and service but it was little longer than we like . 6:30 seating and we didn’t get out until close to 11
