Bidrage med feedbackBorgo Santa Giulia in the neighborhood of Bersi Serlini Winery in Franciacorta is an ideal combination for very good and high quality food after (or before) the wine tasting. I was there already twice with a small group and both times we had the „MENU DEGUSTAZIONE CARNE“ for 35 €/person including drinks highly recommended. Dear Giuseppe, thank you very much for the outstanding culinary experience!
I have been in this restaurant in two occasions recently with my wife and since the management has changed. It was a very nice surprise. The food was excellent and the courtesy of the personnel too. The location does not need further description as it is a very elegant and old restored cascina facing Franciacorta vineyards. We tried the first time a la carte menu and the second time the lunch menu. Both experiences were extremely positive and we will definitely come back.
Local specialties menu was wonderful, Excellent bread in many different types and deserts were delicious. Also Vignenote wine from their own cantina was absolutely appreciable. All very good and cheap!
Georgeous location, delicious food, however the worst service I ever experienced in Italy. The personel has not a minor sense for hospitality, creating an atmosphere or even being friendly. We felt like we had to excuse ourselves that we gave back a (very obviously) corked wine or ask about a mistake in the cheque. Although prices are pretty high, we did not hear once a question if we are fine, or we liked it; the single courses in the (surpise) menu where not announced. The place really ruined our evening.
