Old Oak - Cork

I did not enjoy my experience in this restaurant. What got us to go to this restaurant was hunger and also the exterior and interior design of the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing ill give them that. First of all the food took about 30-35 mins to be served. And the food was absolutely disgusting. No taste, it was seasoned at all. It was burnt, awful presentation. Asked for water and the water had soapy taste. I looked around all over the restaurant and there was so many food left over on peoples plate. It was kinda embarrassing for this establishment. It seemed like they got their food in musgraves and just put it in the oven. Went to Cork for a city break and will definitely avoid this place. Shouldve went to a chipper instead would enjoy my lunch instead.

Not impressed by lunch menus being on display in the evening. Bar service was chaotic with variable levels of English on display and the fish and chis when they arrived were very strange. Probably not a visit to repeat.

Had a quick pint here on our way to dinner. Place has alot of character and a great place to meet up with friends

Was not happy with the service which was shocking waited 20 mins for a drink( was not busy) ordered food which was awful toasted sandwich with everything in it cold...fish was burnt ...I asked to speak to the manager who had a bad attitude towards us..asked me.. 'what 's up ' told him he asked what do u want me to do about it. .........I was angry at his response..he never once apologised just went to the till got out the cost of the toasted sandwich and put it on our table..some customer service...overall was a disgrace and spoilt a day out with family...highly not recommend this place..

Bartender was extremely rude with my friend who was trying to pay with his phone and having some difficulty with apple pay, I had to end up paying for him as the bartender was so impatient and rude. I saw female staff being sexually harrased behind the bar by male staff as if it was normal behaviour. Security are very unprofessional and acting as if they are looking for fights. I'm surprised the owner hasn't been sued by customers and staff alike. This venue is an absolute stain on Cork city and I would urge potential customers to support almost any other bar that operates with good customer service and professionalism towards it's staff and customers alike.
