Pigalle Kitchen - Cork

We had a birthday dinner here what a hidden gem. Every dish was astonishing. Cauliflower starter was inventive and delicious as was the aubergine katsu dish I have never tasted aubergine rendered so deliciously. The monkfish and lamb were equally divine. The side orders of potatoes, courgette and salad were very generous. We all had the ice cream sandwich which was gorgeous. Excellent natural wine list. Service was cheery and efficient. I had been very sick and was delighted to have been able to at last eat. The dishes were so dainty and appealing that I ate everything.

We have dined here on a number of occasions and made a return visit last Saturday. Pleased to say the experience was as good as ever. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, and top class food. We would highly recommend a visit.

As always everything was great.Menu spot on, seasonal and beautiful.It takes a lot of skill to have everyone happy with a small menu,but they manage and deliver.Service was better than ever. Cozy little place that is off the beaten path. We did make a reservation and glad we did. It was too cool (for us at least) to sit on the patio but indoors was great. Food was really good and service was excellent.

Very cool place, great food, though prices a bit too high. It would be 5 stars if the service was a bit more attentive- it was hard to catch a waitress. Also I think one of the waitresses was inappropriately dressed for work — tank top and wool gilet was a bit out of place. Overall great experience!
