Jacques - Cork

Ruth took such great care of the nine of us! We came over from the US for my Mum's 100th birthday party earlier in the day and were exhausted from the trip. Food was delicious Tomahawk steak, sirloin steak, scallops, cheese board and bacon something, etc etc. Everything was outstanding! We weren't too hungry so probably drank more bottles of Chateauneuf du Pape than we ate. Best meal of the short trip. The place was buzzing. The service was top notch for such a busy Saturday night. Thanks so much again.

Second time to Jacques, lovely atmosphere, got a load of plates to share between four of us, each as good as the next. Staff attentive and efficient. Will be back :

One of the only places in Cork that actually does rare steak. My wife took me here for my birthday recently. Greatvwine and cocktails, as well as non alcoholic mocktails, and the food was amazing, good venison first time we went and the steak last time was amazing. I liked it, I loved it, I wanted some more of it.

The appetizers were lovely, the main dish was good and the dessert was a bit disappointing. But the wine was terrible.

Side and appetizers were delicious. but the steak was overboiled. the service was bad. we never had our water up. had no chance to ask additional drinks, as the staff did not check.
