Arthur Mayne's Pharmacy - Cork

I had a table booked for myself and the gf in the pembroke across the road and decided to pop in here for a quick drink before dinner , we had a little look at the menu and decided what the heck , the food coming out looked well presented and the menu was interesting , we ordered the house chilli nachos , a chicken and smoked sausage skewers and then the pulled pork sliders, the star was the chilli served with a minted sour cream was just the best I'd ever tasted, the sliders came on a sweet and fresh brioche bun with salad on the side , the best thing was there was nothing above a tenner , quality and value , so glad we ate where we did , we left very satisfied :

Great venue, v-friendly staff great food. Would highly recommend Arthur Maynes to all from or visiting Cork looking for a unique place to catch up with friends for a chat, bite to eat and a tipple.

Always passed this place wondering what it was like .. finally got a chance to go in tonight for dinner and it did not disappoint. Quirky old pharmacy bar restaurant. Dimly lit but I liked that as it just added to its atmosphere. Defo be back next time I’m in Cork

Great little place, hidden away but worth a visit, nice staff nice atmosphere....

Great food, portions are big though so go easy. Quirky decor and quite dark interior but I'm half blind so just use your phone light to see menu The meat/cheese platter is fantastic value and delicious as were the croquettes. Good wines and friendly staff.
