Emporium Ice Cream Parlour - Corbridge

Idyll spot in the roman town of Corbridge. Beautiful secluded garden out back too-a real suntrap with stunning views of the countryside. The range of ice creams was so tempting, we had a plate of mixed flavours all beautifully served. What a treat! Lovely couple running it and a must visit place. Kids and dogs welcome too. Coffee and teas served too. Some different gifts to browse too. Don't miss it!

Excellent welcome to this lovely ice cream shop, which sells a wide range of flavours (including diabetic friendly and low calorie stuff) and an equally wide range of ways to eat them traditional cones etc but also waffles, crepes etc. In fact the vanilla ice cream had been so popular it was sold out on the day I went. The staff were delightful. The premises clean and pleasant, and very child friendly with colouring tables, books and crayons available. There’s a lovely outside area if the weather is nice too. Although there’s a step down in the middle of the premises, the proprietor had a ramp ready, making access for wheelchairs and pushchairs feasible (although I’m not sure the washroom is laid out in a wheel chair friendly way). They do everything they can to help though. It’s certainly a place to go again...and again.

Popped in on our way from Hexham and really glad we did, best Vegan ice we have had in a while with vegan chocolate cone.Helpful friendly owners,with a fab interior and great outdoor area out back (sun trap) also sells a few gifts . highly recommended.
