The Old Vicarage - Castleside

I booked The Old Vicarage for my mams 40th birthday as a surprise. From the very beginning contacting the Vicarage they were AMAZING. So friendly, approachable helpful. Everything was so simple easy....I had been looking forward to coming for MONTHS. My Mam screamed with excitement as we pulled up on the driveway (she’s always wanted to come here and always heard good things). The hosts were AMAZING, the house and the atmosphere was AMAZING. Having the whole experience for your own group makes the setting so intimate and private it was beautiful. You sooo get your moneys worth with your menu, the food was absolutely to die for the best food I’ve ever tasted in my life. It’s not very often a group of 10 people can go somewhere for food and every single one of them say every single course was amazing. The drink prices were so reasonable too, same as you would pay in a normal pub. Amazing. We will definitely be coming again. ???????? thank you all for the most amazing night

Second time I’ve been here and had an absolutely fabulous night, the hosts are just brilliant such a lovely atmosphere. The food was incredible. Fab place to go if your looking for something a bit special. Absolutely 5 star! Thanks eddy and stuart xxx

Just back from having Afternoon Tea for our friends 40th. I knew this venue had a first class reputation and I was blown away by how wonderfully kind and welcoming Eddy and Stuart are. Gorgeous interior and the views are stunning. The food was yummy and presented beautifully! Thank you so much to the hosts for making the afternoon so special. Could not recommend The Old Vicarage more! We went last night for my Grandmas 80th birthday and had a fantastic night food was out of this world and service was amazing! They made a really fuss of my Grandma all night and the evening was so easy to organise with nothing to much trouble. Will definitely be returning! Thanks again for a fab night!
