The best Chinese cuisine in Newcastle! I love the hot and sour soup and all the other authentic dishes! I will definitely be returning again!

I ordered a variety of dishes and was not disappointed by any of them. This restaurant is a must-try.

After searching for the "Best Chinese restaurant in Newcastle," we decided to try Papillon for the first time on Friday. We were not disappointed - the food was absolutely delicious, the best we have ever had. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who were not intrusive. We were even greeted by the owner, Will. We will definitely be returning to Papillon on a regular basis.

Very authentic taiwanese flavour! Love it ! Especially the fried chick!

Good is sensational, tapas/share plates only, but everything is unique and really good! I had the zucchini spaghetti, I'm no veg, but it ad great and the spanner crab was sensational! Love the place: a wine in an original bank-style building; high ceilings, beautifully designed, large, darkly well-lit with a corner of large comfortable couches, candles, oh and the fabulous wine list.
